Ernie has published two books!
His most recent book is now available!  Ernie takes the debate of animal rights one step further:  How can we talk about giving animals 'rights' unless we first accord them equal value as spiritual, cognizant beings designated by the same Creator?  At once playful and thought-provoking, far-reaching and soul-searching, Created Equal examines important questions surrounding a topic of vast moral, spiritual, evolutionary, economic, and political importance.  Bringas will disturb you, inspire you, and leave you wondering about humankind's real place on the cosmic totem pole.

Created Equal:  A Case
for the Animal Human Connection.

Is the Bible the divine word of God to be followed unequivocally as the ultimate authority? … Most biblical scholars today would question such an assumption. Ernie Bringas, an ordained United Methodist minister, claims that Christians and non-Christians alike are "victims of a knowledge gap which places them at a level of religious understanding much more appropriate to the seventeenth century".
